Norwegian salmon is grown in cold, running water by the banks of deep fjords. In addition to low water temperatures, the salmon also needs balanced nutrition. For this reason, it is important that the conditions of fish farming are actively monitored and comply with strict quality criteria. Live salmon are transported from the fish farm to a fish processing plant 24 hours prior to the actual processing. This ensures fresh, high-quality fish products for the consumer.
Production process ensures quality A thorough examination is carried out on all fish and shellfish as they arrive at the Kokkola production plant. Trio Trading’s cutting edge production process enables rapid processing of the fish, minimising the amount of time between the arrival of the raw ingredients at the plant and their final packaging. In addition, no compromises are made regarding the cleanliness of table tops, tools and premises. An unbroken cold chain, modern production facilities and the best ingredients guarantee high quality and freshness.
Functional packaging service The shrimp are bagged quickly and hygienically by a machine employing the most recent technology. The Atlantic salmon are filleted according to our clients’ wishes and, if requested, packed in the client’s own packaging materials and/or labelled according to the clients’ instructions. |
